Rod graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. He has extensive background both in teaching in the Post-Secondary level, as well as administrator with four different colleges. In addition, he also has extensive experience in both the online and offline environment. When asked what he liked best about being at RMA, Rod responded, "Having the opportunity to shape and influence the next generation of nurses, ensuring they receive high-quality education and training. "

One of her many accomplishments is she assisted in writing the 2011 SANE protocol for the State of Ohio through the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
